I’ve hesitated to tell the limited people I encounter that I’ve been vaccinated in part because some expect you to then take off your mask. With so few vaccinated and so many challenging variants, it’s obviously the wrong time to stop masking.I would make it a point to call Rand Paul “Dr” with the fake board certification credential after his name. It underscores that he isn’t just completely unqualified to question the efficacy of masks, but that he pretends that he is more qualified than others. He should be publicly ridiculed at every opportunity.In 1999, Paul set up and was “certified” by the National Board of Ophthalmologists (NBO), his own certification organization, protesting a change in the American Board of Ophthalmologists’ (ABO) rules. Paul, his wife, and his father-in-law ran the “board”. He remained “certified” by the NBO until it was dissolved in 2011. Rand advertised himself as “board-certified” until at least 2013.
